David Rains - President
David Rains is one of the nation's foremost recruiting professionals in United States. With over 25 years of experience and an honors graduate of Sam Houston State University, he has earned a reputation as an expert in Commercial Finance.
Throughout his career, David has been recognized as a top performer in executive search. During his tenure at Management Recruiters International, the largest executive search firm in the world which employed over 5,000 executive recruiters, Dave excelled and proved to be the one of the very best in his profession winning over 32 International, National and Regional awards.
Dave and now CFC has also been recognized by the Factoring Industry, earning the coveted "Endorsed Vendor Status" with the IFA (International Factoring Association). Additionally, he has served on the board of The Finance Forum, past board member of the Dallas Chapter of the National Funding Association. Additionally, he has been a speaker at industry conventions and written articles pertaining to commercial finance.

Stephen Weed - Senior Vice President
Stephen Weed is Senior Vice President of CFC serving the Asset Based Lending and Factoring industries exclusively. Stephen is one of the nation's premier recruiters as well as a successful entrepreneur. He understands, from personal experience, what it takes for companies to be competitive and works closely with clients to bring forth the people critical to their success.
Stephen brings nearly a decade of recruiting experience to CFC. He left behind his career with Bell Labs in 1998 to co-lead a startup IT search firm. He successfully developed and managed the recruiting department and played an integral role in growing annual contract revenues from inception to $4 million annually.
Stephen has been recognized by the National Association of Personal Services with the Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) designation. The CPC program was initiated in 1961 and reflects a commitment to the industry's highest ethical standards and professional practices.
Ed Hamel - Vice President
Ed is no stranger to executive recruiting with over 15 years of recruiting experience prior to joining CFC to expand the reach of CFC into the Asset Based Lending and Factoring industries.
Ed began his career recruiting with Sales Consultants of Dallas in 1987. He was consistently promoted and became the manager of the SC Dallas organization. During his tenure, in addition to his management responsibilities, Ed was a top producer in his own right and recipient of numerous awards including Account Executive of the Year in the MRI organization of over 1000 offices and 5000 executive recruiters.
The key to Ed's success in recruiting are his passion for fulfilling challenging search assignments, a heavy emphasis on customer service, a concern for the long term benefit to both clients and candidates and the passion for providing our clients the best possible alternatives in their hiring.
