About CFC - Code of Ethics and Professionalism

The executive search and recruiting industry, like factoring in the US enjoys somewhat of a negative connotation. We believe this is due, in part to the lack of ethics and integrity. At CFC, the following are not mere words on paper but the way that we conduct our business everyday. Because of the amount of confidential information that flows through our office, we are confronted by ethical issues on a continuing basis. You have my word as the President that we will always act with integrity and in an ethical manner toward our clients and our candidates.

This is the level of professionalism and service our clients should expect from any executive search firm and with Commercial Finance Consultants you will receive it all of our business relationships. The professional standards and ethics to which we adhere are in the paragraphs below.

Confidentiality - All information concerning a client's business is kept strictly confidential. We will not reveal the identity of a client to a potential candidate until it is both necessary and appropriate. Likewise, we ask clients not to conduct premature reference checks which might jeopardize a candidate's current employment.

GENERAL GUIDING PRINCIPLES

All laws and regulations relating to equal employment opportunity (EEOC) should be known and
               scrupulously observed.
The candidate's employment background and qualifications will be accurately presented.
No promises will be made to candidates or clients that cannot or the intention is to not fulfill.

PRINCIPLES GUIDING OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CANDIDATES
A candidate who is also considering an opportunity with another company shall not be given false or misleading
information about the other company to dissuade the candidate from accepting the position with the other
company or to motivate the candidate to accept the position with our client. It is also improper to give the
other company false or misleading information about the candidate for the same purpose. There shall be no
               attempt to manipulate a candidate.
Reference checks shall not be conducted without the candidate's permission.
Candidate information will be used only in connection with your activities relating to the possible placement
of the candidate. Confidential information will be treated appropriately.
